Observation

Staff members PD and CL did not complete the training requirements of subsections (4) through (8) of subsection of WAC 110-300-0106 (1) within three months of hire. And staff member PD has not completed the said training and was working alone with children unsupervised during a site monitoring visit. Staff member AJ and NB did not have verification of a current food handlers card at the time of visit. Staff members NB and AJ have not completed school age child care basics within three months of hire and PD has not had school age basics training and was working unsupervised with children at the time of the site monitoring visit. Staff members CL, NB, and PD have not completed recognizing and reporting suspected child abuse, neglect, exploitation training as approved by the department. Staff members CL, NB, and PD have not completed emergency preparedness training as approved by the department. Staff members CL, NB, and PD have not completed the serving children experiencing homelessness training as approved by the department. Staff members CL, NB, and PD have not completed medication management as approved by the department. Staff members AM and PD do not have verification of CPR/first aid training and PD was working alone with children at the time of the site monitoring visit.
